School of Hope, Mountains and Universe is a partnership between the City of Hida (Gifu Prefecture) and the University of Tokyo. The purpose of the partnership is to rebuild Hida, a place surrounded by rich mountain forests and traditional culture, with a unique local identity of having a world-class experimental facility connected to the universe, as a place where everyone wants to go and where local youth can return with hope.
