Research on Sustainable Power System with Large Penetration of Renewable Energy Sources

Akihiko Yokoyama
Graduate School of Frontier Sciences
Department of Advanced Energy Professor
To realize sustainable, stable and economical electricity supply with large penetration of renewable energy sources, our group looks at asset management, demand response of energy storage systems and appliances, among other aspects. Our group joins several projects to reduce fossil fuel consumption on remote islands.
