With the improvement of living standards, there is a compelling need for the sustainable and efficient use of energy and resources. In this project, we will develop new technologies to efficiently utilize energy and resources, such as water and minerals, to recycle them and to detoxify hazardous materials. Furthermore, we aim to develop a small-scale, distribution system focused on local production, consumption, and recycling of energy and resources.
Key words of recycling and environmental technologies for precious metals and rare metals
Quadruple perovskite manganese oxides AMn7O12 (A: Ca or La) are catalytically active for both oxygen evolution reaction and oxygen reduction reaction. These oxides are expected to be applied as the catalysts for water electrolysis and air electrode of metal-air rechargeable batteries.
