U°®¶¹´«Ã½OCW supports one of "the opening of the gates of knowledge" programs.

The University of °®¶¹´«Ã½launched U°®¶¹´«Ã½OCW in 2005 (then named as UT OCW) as part of the ¡°open the gates of knowledge¡± Initiative. We have since provided lecture materials and videos used in our regular courses, compiled in line with the University of °®¶¹´«Ã½education programs. These materials are freely available for anyone even outside the university. The materials available in U°®¶¹´«Ã½OCW are virtually the same as those used in the actual lectures.

U°®¶¹´«Ã½OCW uses a distinctive MIMA Search to present a visual connection between related lectures in a structural graph.

At U°®¶¹´«Ã½OCW, lecture materials and videos are open to the public from a collection of over 1,400 lectures from the university¡¯s regular courses, as of April, 2017.
