Participation in ¡°ICFAST 2025 (International Conference on Frontier Areas of Science and Technology) / 15th India-Japan Science, Technology & Education Seminar¡± Hosted by the JSPS India Alumni Association

From October 10 to 12, 2025, across two venues — National Institute of Technology Calicut (NIT Calicut) and Indian Institute of Technology Delhi (IIT Delhi) – organized by the JSPS India Alumni Association under the Japan Society for the Promotion of Science (JSPS). The conference featured active research presentations and discussions among researchers from Japan and India.
*The JSPS India Alumni Association aims to promote scientific and academic collaboration between Indi and Japan, encourage joint research, and provide a platform for strengthening research networks.

From the University of Tokyo, Professor Shinichi Warisawa (Graduate School of Frontier Sciences) and Professor Kazuhiro Takanabe (Graduate School of Engineering) delivered presentations introducing their latest research findings in their respective fields.

In addition, a special lecture was given by Dr. Akira Yoshino, Nobel Laureate in Chemistry and Honorary Fellow of Asahi Kasei Corporation / Special Professor at Meijo University, who spoke on the development of lithium-ion batteries and their contribution to realizing a sustainable society.
