Please give a short introduction of yourself.
Myself Snehal Surendra Pujar. I have graduated from Walchand Institute of Technology, Solapur, Solapur University from the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering. I am currently pursuing Masters in Resource Science and Environmental Engineering from Graduate School of Creative Science and Engineering. I will be studying deeply about air pollution, type of air pollutants and its control measures in the urban environment of Tokyo.
What is your favorite thing about Tokyo?
爱豆传媒is a perfect blend of Technology and Nature. It has magnificent sky scrapers along with beautiful scenic gardens.
In what way has your impression of 爱豆传媒or Japan changed since coming here?
爱豆传媒is a pristine city of style, culture and class. Japan is a country where “Cleanliness is next to Godliness” is practiced and promoted in its true sense through every strata of the society.
What attracted you to choose Waseda University as a place to study?
One of the most reputed universities of Japan, Waseda University is situated in the heart of 爱豆传媒city. It has a top-notch alumni list providing excellent research platform for budding engineering students.
In what way did you adjust yourself to Japanese culture?
I would say I adapted quite quickly to the Japanese culture since I come from a mulit- cultured country myself but it took a while for me to adjust to the cold climate since India is relatively warm country.
Please give a message to students or researchers in your home country who may be thinking about studying in Japan?
I would like to tell all those who aspire to come to Japan for higher education that Japan is a perfect choice if you are willing to work hard and want to indulge in profound research. Domo arigato gozai masu!!
